Xeno Genomics today announced a planned expansion of laboratory, computational and technical research capacity following its 2025 acquisition by MorganX.

The expansion is intended to support Xeno’s four core research platforms: genomic engineering, computational genomics, synthetic biology and advanced research programs. The company is evaluating a consolidated research site capable of housing wet-lab science, research computing and specialized technical operations within a single campus environment.

Xeno said the expanded infrastructure will allow teams to move more efficiently between genomic measurement, computational modeling, experimental design and biological validation. The company is also planning additional capacity for long-duration research programs that require dedicated environments and continuity of technical systems.

Site selection and early facility planning are underway. Xeno expects to announce the location of the new research operation during the first half of 2026.

The company’s existing programs will continue during the expansion period.
